Is this a real phone call?

Yes. CLKUPAPP places real outbound calls over the public telephone network via Twilio. The person you're calling picks up on their actual phone. When you tap the CLKUPAPP button, they hear a voice tag, then a simulated analog receiver-slam, then a dial tone — before the line disconnects.

Is this a prank call app?

No. CLKUPAPP is a novelty telephony product designed for dramatic call endings between people who both understand the joke — think retro sitcom hang-ups, not silent nuisance calls. Using CLKUPAPP to harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten anyone violates our Terms of Service and probably a few laws in your jurisdiction. Play nice.

How many free CLKUPAPPs do I get?

Three per rolling 7-day period. Your quota is shown in the app. Paid subscriptions remove this limit and unlock additional features.

Why can't I hear anything when I make a call?

CLKUPAPP needs microphone access to send your voice through the call. On Safari (iOS or macOS), make sure clkupapp.com is allowed to use your microphone in your browser settings. If you're on desktop and still hear nothing, check your system audio output device.

Can I call 911 or emergency services?

No. CLKUPAPP is not an emergency-services provider. For emergencies, call 911 from your actual phone. Do not attempt to use CLKUPAPP for any emergency.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Sign in, go to your account settings, and click "Cancel Subscription." Cancellation stops future billing but you keep paid features until the end of your current billing period. Full details in our Refund Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Email hello@clkupapp.com from the address on your account and ask for account deletion. We'll delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

Is my voice tag stored?

If you record a custom voice tag, we store it on our servers so we can play it into your calls. We don't analyze it, transcribe it, or share it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is there a mobile app?

CLKUPAPP works in your mobile browser today. iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap. In the meantime, add clkupapp.com to your iPhone or Android Home Screen and it behaves like a native app.
